Within the Brambles Smart Asset Solution (BSAS) app (a new enterprise app based on digitized asset data in the supply-chain), the Account Performance dashboards aim to provide business users with relevant KPIs and business insights that help them to gauge, measure and monitor customer account performance and drive better outcomes for both for the business and the customers.

What prompted the research intervention?

Based on the insights gathered through previous research initiatives and the card sorting study, the UX Designer on the project designed the primary Account Performance dashboard and subsequent user flows for key tasks and workflows. In order to validate the design concepts, users were looped in to conduct concept testing sessions.

Providing business users with the right tool, streamlined workflows and access to KPIs and insights that help them effectively monitor performance and translate digital asset data into value for both the business and customers.

In order to validate the design concepts and help shape the MVP design that is ready for development, I worked in parallel to conduct quick concept testing sessions with available users. Key tasks and user flows were tested to ensure that the design direction is addressing the user needs, behaviors and challenges, while addressing the project vision.

Participants shared valuable feedback on the concepts that helped us further define and refine the concepts; while focusing on critical features. The solution accelerated time-to-insight by 3x and empowered users with data-driven decisions and streamlined workflows by shaping the primary user flows around relevant KPIs and key information needs.
